House Doulani MareniqIt began with the way she cared.
House Doulani Mareniq began by paying attention to the work around postpartum care: the preparation before a shift, the details worth remembering, the developmental moments that can disappear into an ordinary day, and the understanding a family carries forward afterward.
The tools became a platform.
The first idea was practical: bring schedules, timers, notes, care records, and handoffs together so the care already being given could be held with more clarity. That practical beginning made room for a larger thought—individual moments could become continuing stories, and the changing conditions around the caregiver could have a place in the picture, too.
The platform became a House.
Doulani became the approach. Mareniq became the platform. AMAREA became the companion, and Tidegarden became the living expression of growth, memory, and changing conditions. They are distinct names for one shared purpose: supporting care without losing its humanity.
A name with more beneath the surface.
Mareniq, pronounced MAR-EH-NEEK, carries associations with the sea, motherhood, and tide. Doulani carries the doula’s calling and the personal roots of the House. Some meanings belong to the public story; others remain with the family that gave the House its beginning.
Lioness of the Sea

The Lioness of the Sea reflects the House at its most distilled: grace, watchfulness, leadership, protection, and the ability to become a force when something matters. The current gives the image movement; the lioness gives it resolve.
The next chapter can grow carefully.
